It's hard to believe that Claire is already 5 months old. She is getting so big and doing great. She loves eating! She's really enjoying rice cereal, green beans, carrots and bananas. She weighed 13 pounds at our last doctors appointment and was 24inches long. She's come a long way since she was born. She has learned to roll over and does it constantly. I'll put her down and she is already across the room. She is sitting up with some support so I expect that by six months she will be doing it all on her own. Josh and I have been blessed with such a sweet little girl!

Cy and Jenny's Wedding
Saturday night our friends Cy and Jenny got married. Josh and Cy have been friends since they were kids and now they work together at North. Josh was a groomsman and he looked very handsome in his tux! All of his friends were in town for the wedding so it was a fun weekend had by all.

Daddy and Claire
This weekend the weather was so nice. It was sunny and in the 60's. Josh decided to go for a jog and take Claire with him in the jogger stroller. He said she really liked it because she was not crying, which is so wonderful. After a while, she fell asleep, which is also wonderful. I'm just glad someone in the family is getting some exercise!!! These were some pictures that I took of them on their Saturday jog.

"Sip and See"
Mom had a "Sip and See" for all of our friends to meet Claire. Everyone loved meeting her and Claire loved having all the attention. She was all smiles! She took a brief nap during the party, but was ready for more pictures. Here are some pictures from the party.

Claire Meets the Family
We went to Aunt Judy's house for two days. They were so excited to meet Claire. We had dinner and did our Dirty Santa gift exchange. Claire received lots of fun toys and clothes! She has more clothes than I do! Madison spent the night with us and helped me give her a bath in her little ducky blow-up bathtub. The next night we celebrated Kathy's birthday at Portico. We had a great time visiting with everyone and Claire was so good the entire trip! Here are some pictures of Claire and the family.

Welcome to MISSISSIPPI!!!!
Claire's 1st Flight
Claire meets Chrissy
Claire and I flew out of LAX on Wednesday morning. She did so good on the flight. She never cried. She was too busy watching everything going on around her. Everyone said what a good traveler she was. It was quite a surprise to me. Mom and Chrissy greeted us at the airport. This was Chrissy and Claire's first time to meet and they hit it off. We had a great time visiting and catching up. Thursday we packed the van and headed to Monroe, LA to see my aunt and cousins. Claire was off on another adventure to another state! Our visit was a lot of fun. She was spoiled with lots of fun Christmas presents. Madison, my 10 year old cousin, was a big help with Claire. They had a lot of fun together. It was a quick, fun trip and Claire did great!

4 Months Old!
Claire is four months old and so much fun. She is smiling all the time and is very social. She loves watching everything we do. She is rolling over from her tummy to her back and is trying to roll from her back to her tummy. She is growing so fast! She started eating rice cereal and loves it. She gets it all over her....even in her hair. We are having a hard time getting her to take a bottle. She screams and wants nothing to do with it. Hopefully, she will transition into this soon. I don't want her to starve while I'm at work. Any suggestions on what to do?

Christmas Morning!
We didn't get up until nine on Christmas morning. I told Josh that this would probably be the only time we will ever sleep late on Christmas morning. Santa had been at our house and brought Claire some toys and books. She also got a baby doll from Grammy and of course some more clothes! She loved looking at all the toys that lit up and played music. Santa came to see me as well. He brought me some diamond earrings! I was so surprised. My sweet husband is so good to me. I must have been good this year!
Josh made breakfast for us and then we stopped by his aunt and uncle's house to see what Santa brought Gabriel (Josh's cousin) and to eat a lite lunch. Next we headed out to the Izquierdo's house (Josh's grandfather). We ate a big lunch, which was so good. After visiting with everyone, we had our gift exchange. I got a target gift card which I love because I go there every week and Josh got a gift card to Red Lobster. Another dinner date for us! It was a fun day, but very tiring. We had to get home so I could finish packing. Claire and I were leaving early the next morning for LAX. MISSISSIPPI....HERE WE COME!!!!!

Claire's First Christmas
We went to the Christmas Eve service at church and dressed Claire in her cute Christmas dress one more time. After the service, we had dinner at Aunt Carla and Uncle Wayne's house (Josh's family). We had a ton of food to eat which was all delicious! We played dirty santa with all the family. It wasn't too dirty. There was some stealing going on. I stole some great candlesticks and ended up keeping them. I was so excited! Josh got a gift certificate to Chipotle so he was thrilled! It was a late night and we had to get home so Santa would come and see us!
